  My oldest son gad 80 stitches in his cheek from a Rottweiller in someone's front yard. As long as your dog is chained up in Texas, it can ravage anyone at will with impunity. I was unable to even sue for the medical bills.
  And the dog (a trained guard dog) was never even examined after it ripped my son's face half off. He still has scars 15 years later.
  
  I feel bad about the dog Jack, but he was a BAD DOG this time. He is a dangerous animal now for small kiddos and can never be trusted again. I'm just glad JoJo had the reflexes to protect her neck - that's why the dog got her cheek. Animals go for the throat. You are a very lucky family right now, believe it or not.

  wish they would give dog up for adoption instead of destroying - its usually never the dogs fault - its training or the lack of...
