Skye is a teenage homeless musician battling a drug addiction who dreams of unattainable rock stardom. She's befriended by Amber, a young mother on the run from two dangerous men from her past. The two girls form a mutually indispensable bond, one that could ultimately save them. Dylan is a pseudo-intellectual-Chuck Palahniuk wanna-be, and a total cynic. He lives with TJ, an out of work actor, who fails auditions by day, and wears a hamburger suit outside a burger joint at the mall by night. TJ and Dylan are artistic failures in need of a muse to kick start their careers. Broken follows several other interesting individuals (all based on real people), each with their own humorous twisted narrative as they try to put the pieces of their lives back together. Front cover design by Joel Silva and J. Matthew Nespoli. Back cover photo by Melanie Morgan.

Director: MikeStrozier

Dr. Frank Romano (World Audience Publishers)

Storm Over Morocco, 3rd Edition
by Dr. Frank Romano ISBN: 978-1935444251

This 3rd Edition of Storm Over Morocco, a true story, includes a new chapter about the author’s childhood -- after fighting his sometimes violent father and struggling as a counsellor for some of Northern California’s most dangerous young criminals -- he turned to fighting for victims of world conflict by organizing interfaith peace projects in the Holy Land. The epilogue recounts a tense meeting in a West Bank refugee camp between the author and militant Palestinian Moslems to prepare for an interfaith peace march. Seeking a solution to conflict through interfaith peace, he set out for the Holy land from Paris in 1978. While traveling through Casablanca, Morocco, he was invited to study Islam in a mosque; it turned out to be controlled by an extremist Moslem sect which promptly imprisoned him. He was wrongly accused of being a Zionist spy. His search transformed into a desperate struggle for survival when he is accused of sabotaging the faith. He was recently interviewed on several major national radio shows, including Savage Nation with Michael Savage and on Fox and NBC news programs. He also participated during a panel discussion concerning spiritual issues broadcasted live by a Houston Time Warner television station. Finally, He gave a power point presentation about his book and interfaith activities at the Mid-Manhattan Library in New York City. After world author tours in 2007 and 2008, in the United States, the UK, France, Israel and Palestine, covering 40 cities and 12 (US) states, he is presently scheduling author events for the 3rd Edition in 2009 covering several US states and the UK.

There are many sports played across the world, but only one truly captivates the global community. Some call it soccer and some call it football, but everyone embraces the majesty and splendor that the sport offers to all of its fans. The world's most recognizable soccer club is England's Manchester United, a team that means so much to so many in all corners of the globe. Devil Worship: A Fan's Voyage with the 2008/2009 Manchester United Red Devils describes one American's semi-autobiographical obsession with the team that has shaped so much of his life's positive (and sometimes negative) experiences. Readers from America to Australia will appreciate the universal theme of uncontrollable fandom detailed so eloquently by Mr. Leyland. Devil Worship: A Fan's Voyage with the 2008/2009 Manchester United Red Devils is a must-read for anybody who cherishes the world's most popular sport above all others.

Director: MikeStrozier

The stories in Christopher Iovenko’s striking literary debut Lucky Streak vary widely in topic and setting, but together they chart a modern landscape of alienation and deprivation, both spiritual and physical. Whether following a teenager literally trapped in his house by an abusive stepfather, a homeless man who tries to make a living as a ventriloquist, or a professional gambler who takes his young daughter to Las Vegas to get his luck back, the stories radiate the power of lost dreams and frustrated desires.
