  I saw your show on O11 and wanted to comment there, but it wouldn't let me. I'm like you, things were different with the O11 crowd and all the crap that has been created here is that, just crap. I'm sorry it has pushed Jacqui away, it has me too in a sense. It's hard to come on and watch the stuff that goes on. It was fun while it lasted. I guess it's no big deal, nobody missed me anyway!

  I forgot the engine computer monitors the ohms on the HEATER side of the circuit. We may be able to just use a resistor to drop the output voltage after all. Zeners are not nearly as cheap as plain old resistors. I'm all for the cheap. LOL

  This interface will work with nearly every car made after 1995. I have scanned cars with this that my OTC scanner
  (over $6k) would not even communicate with. It does not have bi-directional control - like operating relays, pumps, and switches - but it does have good monitoring capabilities. And you can interface it with a pc or laptop to record every sensor reading for as long as your hard drive will let you. And you can look at the signal waveforms, just like an oscilloscope. A whole lotta bang for the buck, this ain't just a code reader. It will pay for itself, trust me !
  
  On the O2 sensor, perhaps a zener diode to limit voltage output ? Resistance is going to be a problem, as the engine computer also monitors this. Or else I'd just add a resistor to drop the voltage.
